Father overdosed on heroin leaving his girls, a three-year-old and a six-year-old, unattended

A Franklin County man is facing charges after he overdosed on heroin in an apartment kitchen, leaving his young girls unattended in a separate room.

According to police, Kace Worrell, 26, had to be revived. His girls, a three-year-old and a six-year-old, were found unharmed, awake and present at the time.

A police report states Worrell was unconscious, and would not have been able to look after the two girls if they needed care or attention. He was taken to a local hospital, and discharged.

The girls are in the care of a relative.

I think that about people too. But my brother has 4 kids [3 at the time] and OD'd 2 times on heroin within 2 months and I NEVER thought he would do heroin.
