Dr. Hanuman Gowda, 31, was arrested on Jan. 9 and booked into the Wood County Jail on four counts of endangering children and two counts of felonious assault.
According to the Perrysburg Police Department, staff at Toledo Hospital informed the department about a 10-week-old baby who had bone fractures in both arms, the upper and lower parts of both legs and three ribs.
A hospital body scan showed the fractures had occurred over time, as they were in various states of healing.
Gowda and another person had taken the child to seek medical evaluation on Jan. 4 because it appeared the baby was in pain, the police report noted. The two denied knowing how any of the injuries happened.
The person with Gowda said they had cared for the baby since birth, according to police.
