The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office took a man into custody and charged him in connection with the death of a child.

James Tillman Bradley III, 33, was charged with unlawfully placing a child at risk of harm and willfully abandoning a child.

He is the second person charged in the death of a toddler in April, the sheriff’s office said.

Deanna Hilliard, 29, was also charged with unlawful conduct toward a child resulting in death, according to the sheriff’s office.
