A Daytona Beach woman attacked a man who was leaving her by throwing bleach in his eyes and then cutting him with a knife, police said.

The domestic violence incident landed Tiara Dudley, 37, in jail on a charge of aggravated battery causing bodily harm. No bail listed.

Daytona officers were called to a home on Tuesday at 1:10 p.m. where they found the victim, Travis Hubbert, 38, being attended on the porch of the home by paramedics, a report said.

Hubbert, who smelled of bleach, couldn’t see and emergency workers were washing his face and eyes with a solution, police said.

Investigators learned that Hubbert had gone to Dudley’s home to get his clothes and other personal items and an argument ensued, a report states.

As Hubbert tried to get some items from the pantry, Dudley grabbed a bottle of bleach from a cupboard and then splashed it in Hubbert’s face and on his pants, police said.

Just before Dudley threw the bleach on him, the victim said he saw the woman holding a kitchen knife and he felt a cut on his right hand as he was blinded, investigators said.

The victim was able to grab the knife, breaking off the blade in the struggle, the report said. As he tried to get out of the house, Dudley kept beating him to the point her children tried to pull her away from him, a report details.

The incident was also reported to the Department of Children and Families, police said.
