David Bryant Posts Video Of Son's Alleged Abuse By Mother, Gets Charged Himself

She sent him texts saying she beat the fuck out of his son and to come get him before she kills him. In the video when he confronts her she said "I don't care, I'll kill him." I can't believe she even tried to pretend that he was the one that did that to his son.
 
As much as we know he should've just picked that baby up and ran , at least the continuous argument allows for evidence to be built to show her for the abusive witch she is.

Obviously the longer she was in front of him and he had that boy in his arms whilst verbal alterations occurred between them, the longer and more heated the situation became. If he had left straight away , yes it would have been better for the baby not to see the fighting - (but lets be honest, she's been abusing that baby as he had previous injuries and had just been battered, so the arguing would be a break for him from his usual life with Mommy -) and for the man not to lose his temper and strike the woman, but if he had of left straight away there would be no evidence of her attitude - then he really would have been getting the blame for that babies injuries.

She's evil, calling her baby a piece of shit, saying she put a knot in his head, he'll probably die outside and she don't give a fuck - That's a small glimpse into her stone heart and shit brains.

There is one thing I am grateful for here - Dad came to check when the Mother sent the threats. Imagine if he hadn't of turned up, she would've got madder and madder and either left the baby to die or most probably yanked him in and beat him even more, even fatally.
It reminded me of that woman who wrapped her baby in the sheet a while back and posted the photos on FB - she had sent threatening texts to the Father but he had turned his phone off.
I don't know why men Father children with women they have no intention of staying with or why women have children by men they don't even like or just for the drama, but innocent babies suffer and the breakdown of family and society is killing children the world over.

There's another group dedicated to hating the mother full of info on there..- plenty of threats and even posting her address, sometimes FB can get slightly heated.. I knew I shouldn't have reactivated my old account, I keep looking up these people when I read these awful things and I think I need to double my blood pressure meds.

Her sister did the same when the fake Gofundme acct came to light. Some girl posted on bitch's fb and got into a verbal argument with her sister, who then proceeded to tell the girl she was gonna kick her ass, come knockin' on her door, blah blah.

Yes, domestic violence is a very serious issue. Yes, it should always be taken seriously. This should be an exception, due to mental distress. However, that cunt deserved to have the fuck beat out of her! She beat a BABY senseless. Then sent some fucked off messages to baby daddy..

He should have beat her senseless and claimed self defense...

I AM IN NO WAY SAYING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS OK. Seeing his child in that state, knowing she beat him, then was so cold and callous about it, warrants a punch or two to the face/ throat/ head. In my opinion... bitch deserved it.

Quite frankly, if I EVER saw my son in that situation and was face to face with the person who caused those injuries- I dont care if it was my MOM- I would fuck someone up. Period. (My mom would never even spank my kid btw. Just an example...)

This poor baby was subjected to horrible abuse in his short little life, at the hands of the very woman supposed to protect him and keep him safe. Only 11 months old. Just starting to walk...

She OBVIOUSLY can't stand her son. For her to display such hatred towards her innocent baby, one would think she is incapable of love. There MUST have been some signs of her evil, PRIOR TO THIS? Surely she has always disliked him or resented him? Maybe never wanted him?
I just can't understand this. At all. Just evil.

I don't blame dad one bit. If he hit her only once she is lucky.

I just wish he would have got her to open the door, nailed her a good one and headed out with the baby. She sure the fuck can dish it out but can't take it. She's a stunned cunt who doesn't deserve the baby, but does deserve a whole lot more fists to her evil fucking head.
 
that looked like a weave to me i bet the baby might of put in in the toilet and it pissed the bitch off, my kids used to throw everything in the toilet, video tapes toys toothbrushes. i never got mad i was just amazed. Oh and her house had a lot of trash laying around from what i could see.
 
I think as a parent, having self-control is imperative, especially in a situation where your child needs medical attention. A little common sense always helps as well. IF both parents show their lack of self-control and both parents exhibit violence, especially in the presence of the child, then there's a good chance a judge will think neither parent is fit to raise the child. So as bad as he wanted to kill her and as much as she had it coming, he did the wrong thing in this situation, and it could have cost him his rights to his child. Definitely not worth it.
 
Hope fully the text will be used against her and she is charged with attempted murder. She did say she was going to several times.

The baby is now in the care of people who have this bitches older son. I hope she isn't let anywhere near these boys. I hope the Father turns himself in now he has raised his case.
 
The story is evidence of a startlingly ignored and fairly scary issue in American society, sexism against males. Dude is initially treated as a child abuser, dude is charged for protecting his son, bunch of bullshit. Men have sooo little rights when it comes to their children in this country, very scary stuff.
 
A district justice dropped the charges against a local father on Thursday in connection with an abuse case against his 11-month-old son.

David Bryant was cleared of any wrongdoing, having the most serious charge – endangering the welfare of a child – dismissed, but he told Channel 11 News his fight is far from over.

“I'm kind of happy in a way. I'm just looking to get my son back,” Bryant said.

"I think that the judge - when she looked at the video - you could see it on her face when you hear David crying and just sobbing over his son's condition. The video, as he said, speaks for itself,” said Bryant’s attorney, Wendy Williams.

While the charges against Bryant were dismissed, the judge ruled there was enough evidence to hold all of the charges, including aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child against Salter.

Blaine Jones, Salter’s attorney, said his client is standing by her original story that her son was injured when Bryant got mad and knocked over a TV.

Police did not buy Salter’s story and actually charged her with filing a false report.

Bryant was convicted of several charges related to the case in June 2015, including simple assault and criminal mischief. He was sentenced to two years of probation. Not entirely sure why, I couldn't find anything on this part.

UPDATE: We have received word that the parental rights of both "parents" Dalishia and David have been terminated. They do have the option to appeal this of course and likely will if they haven't already.
All 3 children are still together in the foster home they've been in since the start and are doing great.
REMINDER: Sentencing for Dalishia will be on October 28th.

For those confused on why David's right were terminated as well: David went back to Dalishia just 3 months after she beat his son. Since David was released from prison 7 months ago he only showed up to 1 visit (and was a half hour late) with the kids. David tried his best at trial to protect Dalishia instead of making sure his child received Justice.

What a piece of shit. There's really nothing easier to abide by than the cake walk program CPS gifts to deadbeat, neglectful trash parents. If you get your rights terminated, that means you seriously, deep down, to your fucking core, simply for a fact do NOT love your kid and do not want them. This asshole made a choice.

I bet he did in fact beat the kid too.
 
I was in the group that was keeping up with all this craziness and from the beginning i did not like the dad because After he smacked the pos mom around ( which she deserved) he than ran off LEAVING that baby there..that told me he was also a pos..i took quite a key board beating from those blind people over My opinion....everyone was so stuck on the fact that he beat on her that they missed all the other red flags..also i forget who but someone asked what the go fund was spent on And surprise ..surprise..he spent it on himself getting new clothes ..a new apt and whatever else he felt entitled too...the only thing good to come out of this is that all 3 kids are AWAY from both pos and they are fortunate enough to be in the same foster care family..

A Pennsylvania mother convicted of severely beating her infant son then leaving him outside with the trash deserves the 7 1/2- to 15-year prison term she's serving, a state appeals court panel has concluded.

The Superior Court denied Dalishia Salter's challenge to her conviction for aggravated assault and other crimes in an opinion by Judge John Bender.

Bender whole-heartedly agreed with Allegheny County Judge Beth A. Lazarra that Salter's own "cold, calculating" demeanor and evident disregard for her son's welfare resulted in her August 2016 convictions by a county jury. He heavily cited Lazarra's account of the case in his opinion.

Police said the assault on the 11-month-old occurred in September 2014 at Salter's home in Wilkinsburg. After she beat her child, Salter "put him outside in the dark, in a car seat, on the back porch...next to the garbage," Lazarra noted.

Then, Lazarra wrote, Salter texted her ex-boyfriend, the child's father. That message included the statements "Beat df out of ya son...U want dat piece of (expletive) take em cuz bet ima kill him."

Police officers who responded to the incident were struck by Salter's lack of emotion and concern for her son. She didn't even ask where the medics were taking him, Lazarra wrote.

She noted the boy's face was badly bruised, he was bleeding underneath an eye and had a skull fracture. X-rays showed older wounds, indicating he had been abused before.

"When she took the (witness) stand she was cold, calculated, combative and completely unconcerned for the well-being of her child," Lazarra wrote of Salter. Her "testimony was not credible in the least."
