Damien Henderson Beats 13mo To Death; Trachell Foster Didn't Protect Him

In the last week of Taemor Hicks' short life, the coroner noted, just even walking would have been difficult. The 13-month-old boy had been beaten so badly that some of his leg tissue had died and was decaying.

On Friday, the day he died, he'd been beaten seven or eight times. The man accused of hitting him, Damien Lamont Henderson, said he gave the boy a "whuppin," according to court documents, striking him across his body and chest with a belt.

Henderson and the boy's mother, Trachell Foster - who told investigators she had seen him beat her son - are now charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.

Henderson initially told investigators that Taemor's injuries were burns from the stove, but he later said he beat the child he called "Ta" with a belt, according to court documents. The beatings were daily, Henderson told authorities.

He also said he hit the baby with his hand and when his hand hurt from the blows, he would batter the child with the back of his hand.

Foster told authorities she had seen her boyfriend beat her son and it "made her uncomfortable," the document stated. She also said Henderson had been beating the boy for about two months.

The medical examiner who performed the autopsy told authorities the boy had several injuries, including bruises on his face, a torn upper lip, a hemorrhaged left testicle and cuts across the chest.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. My daughter didn't even walk until she was a month older than this baby. I just CANNOT understand what a baby could possibly do that would enrage an adult. Babies don't do ANYTHING except maybe cry occasionally (which I'm sure in this case had nothing to do with the beatings *sarcasm*). Babies are ADORABLE and they giggle and they have smiles that act like nature's Zoloft. Looking at that picture up there just breaks my fucking heart so bad. I consider myself old school by how i was raised...i was spanked with a belt and witnessed my friends get whoopins with switches, belts, whatever their parents go ahold of which kinda shaped my discipline methods since i saw first hand what injuries ccould occur by using objects

That being said, my kids got whoopins but a much less violent way as i mainly used my hand on the butt only, and only for extreme offenses

A 13month only BABY should not be hit like hes grown...i wouldnt even "whoop" a teen like that... hell i didnt even pop hands till age 2, and that was to deter touching dangerous things like a hot stove

I'll probably get bashed by all i've said but my kids are 19yrs, 17yrs, and 13yrs and i cant even remember the last time any of them got a whoopin they were so few and far between...if you ground, take stuff away, and time outs dont work you have to do something

Also, my kids would actully laugh when i left the room after a spanking so i know i didnt hit them hard...that always baffled me how i'd hear giggles coming from their room less than 5minutes later

How do you beat a 13 month old so hard your hand hurts? My hands only hurt after I've been doing serious furniture moving at work or gardening, like digging out beds. Physical labor in other words. And I have arthritis! And the belt... good god... on a yearling?

I smacked my daughter a total of twice. Once she was reaching for a boiling pan on a hot stove and the other time she ran in front of a moving truck in a parking lot which was fortunately able to stop in time. The first was a smack on the hand, the other was a swat on the butt (she was still in diapers at the time too). And after that second one I had some idiot in the parking lot who saw it tell me she was going to call CPS on me!!

That's a lot of hitting until the hand gets tired, then switching to the back of the hand til that gets tired, and oh, for more, lets pop this small person with a belt til the arm gets tired. And for kicks, doing this every day, for 60 days.. I could not,(!!! could not!!!), imagine the shrieks that baby made. The absolute terror that baby felt, everytime that monster even looked his way. And if I read this article correctly, the day that baby died, he was beaten 7 to 8 times THAT DAY.
If ANY of their family members start going on about "Only God can Judge" or defending the murderous actions of these two, I hope that they will have karma taking a shit on their kitchen counter.
