So why is she no longer with Taemor's father? Or do you not know the answer to that? (Difficult to know what makes a relationship work or not work even when you're in it, I know.)

What gets me is that it sounds like she has quite a supportive family (you for one!). Why would she need to stay with a violent man for two months? Surely you and your other relatives would have been there for her, if she needed help to get out of a bad situation with herself and her baby in one piece?
