Angelica Aguilar-Marroquin is charged with two counts of child endangering for allowing Romeo Perez-Mendez to abuse her 3-year-old son for months.

Court records allege the child suffered multiple fractures and a liver laceration that required hospitalization.

Investigators also accused Aguilar-Marroquin of failing to obtain proper dental care for the boy. According to court documents, the child later had multiple teeth surgically removed.

Perez-Mendez, 32, faces charges of felonious assault and child endangering.
