He looks like a serial killer!
The case against Brady Burr, the father of the child at the center of the case and Abby Bradstreet, began a little before 2 p.m. Dec. 8 with a McPherson police officer dispatched to return a phone call in reference to a Salina Police Department child abuse case.
The affidavit from McPherson County District Court said that a child was hit with a spoon and made to stand outside in cold weather, wearing only her underwear after urinating in her pants. The abuse reportedly happened while the child, living in Salina, was visiting her father, Burr, at his home in McPherson.
The affidavit said that on Dec. 7, Burr and Bradstsreet were outside with kids, decorating for Christmas when the youngest allegedly wet her pants.
One of the children who witnessed the reported abuse told a detective that the punishment for the youngest girl wetting her pants included having to eat dinner in a bathtub, being hit by a frying spoon and being forced outside for nearly an hour while only wearing underwear.
