Bluefield, WV Police are looking into the death of an 8-week-old child. The mother had been convicted of child neglect in connection to serious injuries to another of her children, three years ago.

According the investigators, the boy who lived at a home on Edgemont Drive died on April 5. The boy's father, Cassidy Byrd, had called 911 stating that the boy was having trouble breathing. Police said that the boy died on the way to the hospital.

Why do we not allow the judges to make these wicked, evil skanks (and the pricks too) to, at least be fitted with a long term birth control. If it were up to me, I'd say spay and neuter them all, but we can't step on their "rights" to bare children. :vomit: Rights my ass, once you harm a child, God forbid your OWN child, you just lost your rights. You have the right to be locked away in prison for the rest of your vermin life.

A Mercer County man was sentenced for child abuse charges on Monday, April 27, 2015. Cassidy Byrd received the maximum sentence of 40 years in prison. Byrd was found guilty in March 2015 of involuntary manslaughter and child abuse causing death. There was a motion to dismiss his charges, but that was denied. Byrd is sentenced to 40 years in the state prison. He has to register as a child abuser on the child abuse registry for 10 years.
