Shreveport police responded or a domestic disturbance on March 8 at 12:20 a.m.
When the officers got there, they were able to speak to a witness who said King had hit his 12-year-old brother in the head with an unknown object.
The child was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say, King confessed to asking the child to pick up one of her wigs and getting mad when he did not do so.
Police say she also admitted to hitting the child in the head.
According to Shreveport police, “Investigators believe a blunt object was used in the assault, though it remains unclear how many times the child was struck.”
Officers found it important to note that King was also significantly bigger in size as compared to the victim.
Staff at the hospital told officers the wound on the child’s head was “very serious.”
Doctors went on to say that had the injury been approximately half an inch deeper, it could have reached the child’s skull.
The child is expected to recover.
