have been several high profile incidents across the country this year of small children who have died while locked inside a hot vehicle — most notably Justin Ross Harris, who faces malice and felony murder charges in the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper, who died in June of hyperthermia while locked in a car outside his father's Georgia office.
Last month, Angela Radtke used a tire iron to smash the windshield of a Chrysler sedan in a San Antonio parking lot after spotting a baby suffering inside.
