have been several high profile incidents across the country this year of small children who have died while locked inside a hot vehicle — most notably Justin Ross Harris, who faces malice and felony murder charges in the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper, who died in June of hyperthermia while locked in a car outside his father's Georgia office.

Last month, Angela Radtke used a tire iron to smash the windshield of a Chrysler sedan in a San Antonio parking lot after spotting a baby suffering inside.

That female didn't have both of her kids in the front seat ,right? So, if they were in the backseat, buckled in, that carseat was in her face with the baby inside. She better get her ass back in that church and do more than singing.

A 3-year-old boy has died a day after being left in a hot car for several hours while his mother and a family friend were in church for a choir practice, police said Monday.

Officer James Holmes says the family friend had taken the boy and other children to a church where the friend and the child's mother had choir practice late Saturday morning. The mother had arrived earlier.

Hayden Nelson was not discovered missing for three hours, following the end of choir practice at 2 p.m. By then, temperatures had reached the high 90s, and the child wasn't breathing when he was found in the vehicle, Holmes said.

How do you forget a 3 yr old.. or any child for that matter. A 3 yr old makes noise and sits in a forward facing booster car seat. I call bullshit

On purpose because they make so much noise.
I hate people.

I have a teensy teensy bit of understanding if it's a newborn baby. You're a new parent.. not used to having to remember to get the baby out of the car. Creatures of habit.. blah blah.. this woman had 3 years of getting that child in and out of the car. There is no fucking excuse

this woman had 3 years of getting that child in and out of the car. There is no fucking excuse
Also, to make this worse, many, if not most, 3 year olds can unlatch their car seat belts (all of mine could), but yet this child stayed put until he died. Brings up the real possibility in my mind that the child was drugged too.

My granddaughter just graduated to a booster seat, so I was able to take her with me to Walmart the other day all by myself. For some reason, my son put it right behind the driver's seat so I couldn't see her. She was amazingly quiet and I did almost forget she was back there. Of course, I didn't forget and we had a fun time at Wally.

I'm pretty much done with these excuses at this point regardless of who was to blame. And, again, no one freaking noticed the child was missing. How fucking pathetic are these people?

But don't u think once the sitter arrived at choir practice, mom would wonder where her 3 yo was at?
Of course. Now then these choir folks do get pretty caught up in their uhm... beliefs? But really I wasn't making any excuse, just stating that the family friend was the one that brought the kid.

Really. How hard is it too look behind you and make sure you have everything and everyone.
All I can guess is the baby laid down on the seat and fell asleep and nobody thought about the baby. Thought she was playing with the others etc.
I don't understand this either.
