A video shows the woman naked on a city road as police officials and patrol cars surround her.

A man named Anton, 40, later called police to report that he had found the beheaded body of his niece Kristina, aged 11, in his flat, according to Vecherny Kharkiv.

The man said he lived with his sister Tatiana, 38.

Later reports suggested the girl was aged 12 or 13.

The uncle said Tatiana had a job and although the family was poor, the girl was not socially deprived.

The woman was detained on suspicion of murder.

Tatiana Pyanova, 38, a cleaner from Ukraine, “would move a mountain” for her only child, Kristina, 13, said a close friend.
The body of her daughter had 20 stab wounds in the macabre lockdown killing, say reports.
There were no strange noises last night when Kristina is believed to have been killed, they said.

The woman was detained by police, and a court later remanded her in custody pending a murder investigation.

An unnamed woman described as the dead girl’s adoptive grandmother said: “I don’t believe that Tatiana could do that, I don’t believe it.

Although there is brutal vile stuff here,it just seems that region of the world is worse.Maybe I'm wrong but WTF.The girl looks like a customer I do pool service for if she was way older, also from the Ukraine, tells stories about that region and from what I read here is pretty accurate.Im always polite but I think I'll be extra, extra nice from now on.

A ‘loving mother’ who was found naked in a street with her daughter’s severed head in a plastic bag will not be jailed.

Tatiana Pyanova, 38, a cleaner, “did not realise her actions” in the lockdown stabbing and beheading of her “adored” only child Kristina, 13, a court has ruled.

A naked Pyanova was detained in Kharkiv city in April brandishing a knife in one hand and holding a plastic bag containing the severed head of her teenage daughter in the other.

The body of her daughter had 20 stab wounds in the brutal killing.
A court has ruled that the tragic mother was "suffering from a chronic mental illness, which made it impossible for her to realise her actions".

Prosecutor’s spokesman Dmitry Chubenk said: "The court decided to forcibly hospitalise the woman in a strict-regime psychiatric clinic."

If treatment is successful, she will be eligible for release.
