The Bureau of Indian Affairs and Federal Bureau of Investigation are asking for the public to help locate Mildred Alexis Old Crow, 8, who was last seen in March 2019 on the Crow Indian Reservation.

Mildred has brown hair and brown eyes.

Mildred's non-custodial relatives notified Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on Nov. 19 that they had not seen Mildred since July 2018.

A Missing Endangered Person Advisory was issued by the Montana Department of Justice on Wednesday.

She was last seen by non-custodial family in July 2018....but she was last seen on the reservation in March 2019. Why did the non-custodial family wait so long to report her missing? Who was the last person to see her in March and why didn't they report her missing (unless they killed her/had something to do with her disappearance)....who had custody of her at the time she actually went missing?

Something is so off about this, and someone knows a lot more than they're saying.

Almost two years after she was last seen, two women have made court appearances in connection to the disappearance of 8-year-old Mildred Old Crow.

Veronica Tierza Dust and Roseen Lincoln Old Crow, both 34, appeared in Big Horn County District Court for arraignment. Each faces a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Dust and Lincoln Old Crow were arrested as fugitives from justice in Billings on Dec. 23.

The Crow Tribe issued warrants for their arrest on December 16 that state they “failed to produce the child nor was any proof of life provided.”

The relationship between the two women and the child is unclear, but the warrant states they were granted informal custodianship by the tribal court on or about March 14, 2017.

Mildred Old Crow was 6 years old when she was last seen, and her current whereabouts are still unknown.

Update 2:30 p.m. Tribal Chairman Frank White Clay confirmed Thursday afternoon that the body found on the Crow reservation was 8-year-old Mildred Old Crow.

"Our hearts ache for the family and I lift them up in prayer. The entire community felt the loss when Mildred went missing and we feel it again today. My hope is that we can find closure, grieve together, and work to ensure that children are protected and supported on the Crow reservation and beyond. We want justice for this child and for all of the victims of the epidemic of people missing from reservations across the country," White Clay said in a statement.

Mildred's body was found Wednesday from a camper near Garryowen. She was reported missing last November by non-custodial relatives.

Roseen Lincoln pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, March 28 to homicide and tampering with evidence, both felony charges, in Big Horn County District Court in Hardin.

The charges stem from the April 2019 death of Mildred Alexis Old Crow, who was placed in the care of Lincoln, known also as Roseen Lincoln-OldCrow, and her wife Veronica Tierza Dust, in March 2017.
Lincoln was transferred from the Big Horn County Detention Facility on Friday, March 24. Her bail remains at $1 million.

Dust is scheduled to enter her plea on Friday, March 31. Dust was transferred to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility on Monday, March 20 where she remains held on a $1 million bail.
