6 Family Members Kidnapped Pregnant Woman Because Her Boyfriend Wasn’t Muslim

Six members of an Arizona family allegedly kidnapped a pregnant relative because her boyfriend was not Muslim, and five of them are accused of punching her in the stomach. Peoria police announced the arrests of Ali Alfartousi, 33, Bashir Alfartousi, 36, Fares Alfartousi, 63, Souad Alfartousi, 59, Yaser Alfartousi, 35, and Zahraa Alfartousi, 31, on Friday.

The 20-year-old woman, her boyfriend and the man’s family filed more than 20 police reports with Arizona police agencies, authorities said. Allegations included disorderly conduct, harassment, aggravated assault, and kidnapping, police said.

The woman’s brother Bashir Alfartousi went to jail last March for trying to kidnap her, officers said. From police:

According to the Yuma Police report, she stated that her brother had successfully kidnapped her and had planned to bring her back to her family where she would have likely been killed.

Kidnapping efforts allegedly did not stop. The other five relatives–Ali, Fares, Souad, Yaser, and Zahra Alfartousi–forced the woman into a vehicle at a parking lot on Aug. 18 in Avondale, and they started punching her in the stomach, cops said. Two witnesses helped the woman escape, cops said.

The alleged motive is that the woman’s relatives disapproved of her boyfriend because he was not Muslim, according to KPNX. Cops reportedly said they believe the six relatives planned on sending the 20-year-old back to Iraq.


Ali Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence), aggravated robbery, and threats. Bashir Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence). Fares Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence), aggravated robbery, and disorderly conduct. Souad Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence), and aggravated robbery. Yaser Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence), aggravated robbery, and disorderly conduct (domestic violence). Zahraa Alfartousi was arrested for kidnapping (domestic violence), aggravated battery, threats, and disorderly conduct.

Kidnapping. Beating. Punching her in her stomach. (No doubt to murder the baby.) For the "crime" of loving a man who isn't Muslim. And I'm sure they think Allah approves. Lock them up, then deport. These fools need to be prevented from ever hurting this woman or her child again.

No. Even that isn't good enough. They need to be prevented from hurting anyone anywhere ever again. I hope every one of them has a fatal accident in prison. It especially galls me that women participated in this. They're probably mothers themselves.

Oh it's not getting any better we are about to see a wave of those transplants come over from Afghanistan. Ask Sweden,Germany,or Italy how that worked out for them,specifically one of the thousands of women who fell prey to this "peaceful" religion.

Thankfully it's in AZ, that state is slowly turning Blue, but it has some deep seated Red laws. So these folks may actually face some consequences for their actions

It's never easy when we assimilate another people. We've terrorized the Irish, we've terrorized Italians, these people with Bronze Age ideas will be difficult to swallow.
Look at their children though, it only takes a single generation to turn everything around. Many of these are people that served us, when we were strangers in their land.

I'm pretty sure the women who participated are her own mother and either her sister or sister in law. The men include her father and likely her brothers.

I agree with you!! After 4-5 years of people immigrating to mostly the European countries that would be an easy flight to the US, the governments in Holland, Germany, Sweden and a few others realized that they had not assimilated in the least. The immigrants from the Middle East had not enrolled their kids in local schools, they did not follow various European laws and customs, and so on. They had no plans to do anything except bring their own customs, laws, and very old and ignorant views about women, children, money, etc. Ultimately they were sent right back to their home country! I may not have remembered every fact correctly, but that's the story, more or less.
