Three men have been arrested and are facing two murder charges each in the 2023 murder of a pregnant woman in Ohio and her preborn baby.
Robert Ervin, 20, Kayvon Warren, 30, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, have each been charged with two counts of murder in the death of India Kinamore, 26, and her preborn child.
In March 2023, Kinamore was found shot to death in Colerain Township, Ohio. She was reportedly in the “late stages” of pregnancy, and her preborn child did not survive the murder.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney David Hickenlooper said Friday that the three arrests were the result of a long, complex investigation. He stated that Warren was in a relationship with Kinamore and wanted her to get an abortion, which she refused to do.
Kinamore was reportedly scheduled to be induced and give birth to her child on the day of the murder.
“It would seem this defendant and his co-defendants were conspiring to come up with this plan to kill Miss Kinamore and her unborn child,” Hickenlooper explained, noting that cell phone records tied Ervin and Suggs to the crime.
Continue readingThe allegation was supported by Kinamore’s mother, Terri. “They were in a relationship. He killed his own son or plotted to kill his own son,” she said. Terri also told the court that Kinamore’s six-year-old son was in the home at the time of the murder. It was the little boy who called his grandmother and told her, “My mommy has been shot.”
Warren’s attorney, Clyde Bennett, refuted the claims that he wanted to terminate the pregnancy, instead saying his client wanted to keep the child.
Sadly, Warren is a very good looking man I could see why India was with him
The baby was named Kyren Jasmel Kinamore
