Eugene Asher and Tonya Lewis were indicted by a grand jury in connection with the death of a 12-year-old boy in Leslie County.

The indictment says Asher and Lewis committed the offense of second-degree manslaughter when they wantonly caused the death of the boy.

The incident happened in December 2024, according to the indictment.
