Port Charlotte FL, A 15yr old boy is being called a hero after he died protecting his sister from a man who broke into their home. Khylar Edmond, 15, was at home with his 5 year old sister when a man, later identified as Ryan Clayton Cole, broke into their home. A violent tussle broke out between the victim and invader. Later, 911 started receiving a multitude of reports about an injured man walking down the road. Police found the man and a shirt chase ensued, they then canvased the area and found a home that had signs of a forced entry. That’s where they found the teen dead and his sister unharmed.

Cole was taken into custody and had several stab wounds on his hands and side, according to a press release, and was taken to a hospital for treatment...
