A Kentucky mother who is accused of abusing her 6-month-old daughter allegedly admitted to the horrendous acts, according to local reports.

Hannah Rupard, 21, is facing criminal child abuse after police were called to the UK Hospital in Lexington on a report of child abuse due to several bruises on a baby's head, local station WKYT reported.
Rupard allegedly admitted to police that she did abuse the baby, specifically admitting to hitting the child several times on the head and even allegedly pulling out one of the baby's toenails, per the station citing an arrest report.

She also allegedly admitted to shoving a pacifier into the baby's mouth, causing injury to part of the child's tongue, the Register reported.

Rupard's alleged explanation for the abuse was the child was crying, which gave the mother anxiety and stress.

God knows what her other children experienced as infants, and what they are putting up with now. If an infants crying pisses her off THAT much, what would a toddler whining do?! I pray these kids don't get returned to her. She isn't meant to be a mother, her instincts to protect and care for her babies aren't there at all.

From the looks of her Facebook the oldest kid is already in state care for the past 4 months

I will never understand the logic of taking away only one of the children but not the others.

When a criminal gets sentenced with jail time, do they only have to serve it on Mondays and Tuesdays, but not the rest of the week?

How can a mother deemed LEGALLY UNFIT for a child be considered "fit" for another?

Baffling logic.

Like @Jellyfish Brain said, once an abuser, means she likely was an abuser from the start. People don't just wake up with the sudden urge to pull a baby's toenail out.

To us, it doesn't make sense. "It's not like it'll stop the crying, dummy." But, humans are logical creatures. It makes perfect sense to her.

Why? Because she's *big mad*. And she knows that it she hits the child, *she* will feel better.

That was the real goal all along. Not to stop the baby from being frustrating. But to relieve the frustration within herself.

It's sadistic, selfish and narcissistic as fuck.
