21-year-old Tessa Knapp was charged with possession of methamphetamines, resisting arrest, and public intoxication after an officer used an armbar to take her down. A man called LPD when she jumped in a truck with his 16-year-old son.
On September 30th, A Lebanon Police Officer responded to a report of a female getting into vehicles. The caller said the woman had jumped into the truck that his 16-year-old son was using. When Officer Corley arrived, he made contact with a female that fit the description and identified her to be Tessa Knapp. Officer Corley observed Knapp speaking erratic, unsteady on her feet, and with pinpoint eyes.
Officer Corley said he had to take Knapp down to the ground with an armbar. During this, Knapp was yelling, “I am resisting, I am resisting”. Upon a search of her purse, 1.5 grams of a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine was discovered in her wallet. A search of Knapp’s person produced 1 additional gram of a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine her pant pocket.
She is jailed in lieu of a $3,000 bond.
