SCOOP: Man Crashes Into Home, Beats Woman Who Refused To Give Him Some Ice

56-year-old John Hudspeth was charged with aggravated burglary and assault when an ex told Memphis Police that he came over to borrow ice and when she said no he crashed into her house, put her in a headlock and beat her.

On May 16th, Memphis Police officers were called to a burglary and assault. According to the affidavit, John Hudspeth had visited India Woodson to borrow some ice.

She said she declined and while she was sitting in her living room she heard a crash in the back of the home and Hudspeth was coming at her from her bedroom. Ms. Woodson attempted to flee but Hudspeth caught her in a headlock and proceeded to beat her. John Hudspeth was sitting on the front porch when the officers responded.
