A mom's boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of rape and child abuse after the oldest of nine children went to a patrol station, police said.

Booking reports show Eric Eugene McFadden, 37, was arrested on suspicion of rape of a child under 13, child abuse and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

A 13-year-old boy told police that he had been abused and two other victims had been sexually assaulted, a police report said.

That boy was the oldest of nine children who were placed into police protective custody after their mom's boyfriend was arrested, Officer Charley Davidson said. In addition to the 13-year-old boy, there were two 12-year-old girls, a 9-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy, a 7-year-old boy, a 1-year-old boy, an infant boy and an infant girl listed as victims in the case, Davidson said.

The 13-year-old went to the Patrol North substation to report the abuse, Davidson said.

Jail records show McFadden is being held on $250,000 bond on suspicion of rape of a victim younger than 14, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and six counts of child abuse.

I don't care how many kids you pop out so long as you protect them.
Mom should have been sterilized a long time ago. Thank God her son was strong enough to stick up for his siblings since mom wasn't gonna.

A 38-year-old Wichita man will have to serve at least 82 years in prison for beating and sexually assaulting children before he is eligible for parole.

Eric McFadden was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences plus another 86 months. The Sedgwick County DA's office said McFadden was convicted of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of rape and five counts of child abuse.
The investigation begin in April of 2018 after a 13-year-old boy walked to the Patrol North substation to report his mother's boyfriend abusing his siblings. The boy was the oldest of nine children taken into protective custody.

The district attorney's office said Wichita police discovered McFadden sexually abused two young girls in the family and beat them all with belts and extension cords if they took his snacks or "acted up."
