The zombie apocalypse has begun at a Quizno's in Huntsville, AL...!

...or maybe not-- he stabbed a police officer with a knife, which I'm pretty sure zombies aren't supposed to do. Fun fact: I used to live in that area and ate at that particular Quizno's like once a week.
Really? You know where hartselle, AL is? I used to stay there.. 3 years to be exact.. I hate Alabama... That's all I got from it...

I know where Hartselle is, but I can't remember ever going there for anything other than to drive by it on I-65.

Parts of Alabama are great, but I'm sure the same could be said of most localities. Personally I love Huntsville (aside from the occasional Quiznos zombie) and don't plan on leaving any time soon. The Decatur/Hartselle area I don't care much for; three years in Hartselle sounds pretty boring.

Gumaro Torres murdered a guy (and almost murdered two others) in a beer money dispute.

I can't figure out if his facial situation is due to injuries incurred in the beer-money scuffle or if it's a tragic skin condition. Or maybe some of it is the dried blood of his victims. Note: he's only 31 years old.

I'm pretty sure them's is fightin' wounds! lol Tho they do look a bit like bitch fight wounds, I suppose he could've gotten scratches from being punched by someone with rings, his face looks pretty swollen.

Yes sir it was... But with places like Decatur and Huntsville we always had Shit to do, just had to drive 20 min to get to it . Lol Huntsville is great. Everything that's worth seeing or doing is there and in Birmingham...

Nikko is pleading insanity, but the state shrink says he is clearly faking it. From the article: 'The idea that Jenkins “was making up his mental illness, I think, is contradicted by the number, quite frankly, the number of tattoos on his face,” [Public Defender] Olson said.'

Face tattoos = automatic insanity defense / get out of jail free card?

Stupidity yes, insanity no. Reading that article makes me think he was born evil. Most are the product of the environment but this guy seems destined to be evil. Not to mention he would never make it past a first interview with those classy tats.

PORTSMOUTH — An active felony warrant has been issued by the Portsmouth Police Department for Adam Anderson who has failed to report as a sex offender. [...] Anderson is described as being 4 feet tall and 105 lbs. with a bald head and blue eyes.

Did they mean to type ENORMOUS instead of bald?? Holy cats this guy needs to have about 6 people struggling to control guide wires on his head to keep it from getting stuck in the overhead power lines. It's like the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade came early.

the tear drop tattoo has had many different meanings. When they were first worn they meant that the wearer had been incarcerated and or killed someone while in or out of prison. As times have changed however, the teardrop has come to symbolize a friend or fellow gang member or family member that has died while the wearer is incarcerated.
Now however the teardrop seems to have become a fad, which granted has gotten people in trouble.
It has also been used as a gang identifier. If it was on the right it meant you were a Crip or part of the Folk Nation, on the left meant Blood or People's Nation.

You actually worked with this guy?!! Yikes! I think it's bad enough just viewing them in a picture at a nice, safe distance. Bet you can tell some stories.

Lol unfortunately I didn't work with him...I was in jail with him (although I was a Trustee so that's why I was the one to have to find his jumpsuit). Of course there are quite some stories to be told from that whole experience (the woman who murdered her father and what she did with his corpse most notably - in her own verbal account) . I didn't actually find who he was until I was released and reading the crime news page of AnnArbor.com. I wasn't shocked really though because my prior assumptions had proved to be spot on. Haha. Getting his jumpsuit unfortunately wasn't my only experience with the guy either. I saw him on an almost daily basis as he was being held in the medical pod under protective custody and that was where I did most of my Trustee duties.
