Again, my original thought, I'll share it since there are so little of them lol.

Worst terrorist attack ever, they kill Osama on a boat, and throw him into the sea, way after he was captured and there was absolutely no way he could escape, instead of bringing him in and, I don't know, interrogate him? (and the story, how they found him cause of satelite picture with his shadow lol)
Major political attack since Kennedy, they kill him again, they could easily throw some barbiturate granate or something, instead of, again, finding out everything about how, why it happened, and who worked with him? (and mainly show his 4 years old photo, cause he had USA t-shirt)

She refuses to admit any fault in the assassination attempt on Trump with the hideous protectee coverage she signed off on (she didn't supposedly sign off on it, but she's ultimately responsible for it as the USSS Head). Since the July 13 shooting in Butler, Pa., Secret Service officials have communicated the agency’s concerns about large outdoor events featuring Trump to his campaign advisers, encouraging them to no longer hold the 78-year-old Republican nominee for president’s rallies out in the open, according to the Washington Post.

The Trump campaign appears to have heeded the agency’s concerns and is scouting indoor venues for future gatherings and not currently planning any large outdoor events, the outlet reported.

It's a hell of a lot harder to protect someone from the threat of assassination outdoors.

Shit, a professional sniper could be a fatal threat from MUCH farther away, and be much better concealed while doing so.

I'll never forget talking with a coworker that was ex-military, who casually scanned our building and surrounding areas, and came up with an incredibly viable-sounding plan as to what he'd do and where he'd set up, if he wanted to snipe someone within our glass building.

A really good sniper can make a shot at a mile or two. Someone tried and failed, the next guy might be successful.

FBI confirms Trump hit by would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ bullet after bureau director’s ‘shrapnel’ suggestion​

The FBI said Friday that a bullet or fragments of it struck Donald Trump's ear during an assassination attempt on the former president this month at a campaign rally.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle," the FBI said in a statement.

About 47 states don't require background checks, buying rifles or ammo. In some places you can buy ammo and supplies at gas stations and few states require handgun registration. Commifornica even requires background checks for ammo purchases, soon we'll have to register pocket knives and nail clippers

I was reading about how well he did his homework, flew a drone over the area. If he wanted to go through life as a good guy, he probably could have had a good career in law enforcement or with training a good sniper. Makes you wonder what made him snap?

Nothing wrong with his shot, Trump just happened to move his head at the right time
Really feel he got some encouragement and a few pointers on how to get organized for the hit, possibly even cash to help purchase all necessary equipment. The whole thing with the flying a craft over the area scouting it out
( something SS forgot to do) knowing the (slanted roof) in direct line of sight within 150 yards, would miraculously be unguarded. Being seen before he shot by secret service sniper, yet allowed to get off multiple shots
The most unbelievable part is all the people that saw him and pointed him out, yet secret service and police couldn't seem to find him even with people pointing right at him
Seems everyone knew what was happening, except the hired professional protectors

I think the people hired to do the protection were lazy and complacent. We're hearing everything he's done for years, if he talked to someone they would have found it by now. He tried covering his tracks buying the materials but he didn't cover well enough. I agree Trump was lucky that he turned his head when he did, and I think the shooter got lucky that the roof was unmanned, I doubt he knew it would be in advance. It's like buying a winning lottery ticket, many can guess 1 correct number, this guy had the perfect combination fall right into his lap.
