Nathaniel Patrick was found guilty by a jury of Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder and/or Strangulation, and one count of Domestic Violence.
He later plead guilty to an additional count of Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm or Strangulation and Child Abuse 2nd degree in a separate case involving an additional victim.
Both cases involved separate females with whom Patrick had a romantic relationship.
During the assault on one of the women, Patrick struck the woman's infant child, put the child into a bathtub, and started the water.
Patrick returned to assaulting the child's mother, leaving the child unattended in the tub. The child was eventually saved from drowning.
Both women were strangled by Patrick, and suffered multiple injuries. One disclosed she had also been bitten in the face during the assault.
Allegan County man sentenced to 10-15 years for domestic violence charges
An Allegan County man has been sentenced to 10-15 years in prison.
