Operation Grange, the British taxpayer-funded probe launched four years after Madeleine’s 2007 disappearance from her family’s vacation rental in Portugal, will be shut down by London’s Metropolitan Police when funding runs out this fall, the Sun reported Saturday.
“There are currently no plans to take the inquiry further,” a source close to the matter told the outlet. “The end of the road for Operation Grange is now in sight. The team’s work is expected to be completed by autumn.”

The decision means there’s insufficient evidence to charge the prime suspect in Madeleine’s disappearance — convicted pedophile and rapist Christian Brueckner.

A German prosecutor probing the disappearance of Madeleine McCann said the British toddler may have been killed after being kidnapped and sold to a child-trafficking ring.

The revelation came this week when prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters was being interviewed on Portugal’s “Sabado” news program on the CMTV network, according to a report.

“So, you don’t believe that she was sold?” asked TV reporter Sandra Felgueiras during the interview.

“I am not allowed to speak about these details,” Wolters said, although he did not deny the scenario.

Oooh the dark mark this girl will get on her soul if she's just some grifter. I find their noses and eye shapes to be very different. The smudge in the eye is interesting but it's probably not rare.

If she really truly believes this then I understand her asking for the test. But if she's just some nut or someone looking for money thats disgusting.

I can't imagine Maddie's parents not having their hopes up just a little but I feel like they're going to be disappointed.

Faustyna is a 21-year-old aspiring musician and model who has claimed on Instagram she is missing British girl Madeleine McCann.

She has spoken briefly about her personal life, saying she has a boyfriend who “wants to leave me because of this case” and that she grew up attending school sporadically.

Faustyna says can’t remember large chunks of her early childhood, isn’t sure of her age and has never seen her birth certificate.

“I don’t remember most of my childhood but my earliest memory is very strong and it’s about holidays in hot place where there was a beach and white or very light colored buildings with apartments,” she said.

“I don’t see my family in this memory.”

What evidence does she have that she’s Madeleine?​

There is very little hard proof that Faustina is the missing British girl. The 21-year-old has claimed she first heard that she was Madeleine from her grandmother a few months ago.

On social media, she has documented apparent physical similarities between herself and Madeleine — including a distinct brown smudge on each girl’s right iris.

“I have similar eyes, shape of face, ears, lips, I had the gap between the teeths [as Madeleine],” she wrote in one post, with side-by-side photos of herself and the kidnapped child.

Faustyna also claimed she is suspicious of her parents in part because she’s never seen photos of her mom pregnant.

She has also shared a police sketch of a man whom witnesses saw carrying a child in the Portugal resort the night Madeleine disappeared, writing on Instagram, “I recognize this person..it looks very similar to my abbuser [sic],” she wrote.

Faustyna claimed she had been preyed on by a “German pedophile,” without elaborating.

Francisco Marco, a private detective linked to the Madeleine McCann case, has cast doubt on her claims, saying “it does not add up to me.”

heck if one of my kids had any doubts about who they are i would do it for them ... no prob i would dif know that it is my child that i gave birth to so what's the big deal??? but hey if they have madelein's mother dna they sure could tell if she is her daughter or not... but me thinks that maybe this girl and her mom are playing the "my five minute of fame" game... why else wouldn't her mom give dna sample??? if mom adopted this girl no shame in that at all but shame on her if she adopted her and kept it a secret from her....when parents don't tell their children about being adopted and keep it a secret, as we well know a secret isn't a secret as long as someone knows about it) when they find out they will forever question themselves about what else you lied to them about..... mine (the ones that were apoted when young) we told them as their very own bedtime story how special they are to have 2 moms and 2 dads that loves them so much.......

Put yourself in their shoes, they have a clearly delusional daughter who made millions, maybe even hundreds ridiculous claims in the past, so making these DNA tests would only reinforce these delusions.


For the context, as for Polish legal system :

-if she turned out to be adopted, no one would probably ever find out. Nothing in Polish legal proceedings is inherently open, and even though she is an adult and would know, she would probably get a gag order

-the coverage in foreign news is not even half decent, she was under psychiatric help for ages,

-Poles have tendency to identify missing children as their own, there has been a family of a kidnapped boy who said some soldier from USA is their son quite recently


There has been so many crazy stories about this case over the years, saying Maxwell of Victoria Beckham were seen with her, or that her parents killed her with strong sedative called PARACETAMOL lol xD

IMO, the case got so much attention from British authorities right away, it must have been a cover-up. There was that Pedo guy living really closes who "helped" the parents, or the parents killed her accidentally with a REAL sedative and got help from their important friends.

I can't even imagine how adopted parents would have felt if their child would cut them off after finding out the truth.

I found out about similar situation lately.
My friend's parents told her like 15 years ago, on her wedding day that that she was adopted when she was 5. I found it hard to believe that she didn't have know that, I remember (or think I do remember) lot of stuff before that.


Anyway, I have known her family for my whole life, her mother worked as a janitor full time in two places, literally 18 hours a day, gave her everything, including best education she could afford.

Fast forward to now, her father had his leg amputated, and they live on last floor of 5 stories building, with no elevator. She is an owner of some kind of gold duck rehab center, bought her daughter a piano and a pony just recently, has a 300 square meters house (3200 Sq feet), but said that she won't let her parents come, even for a moment cause it "would be stressful" to her 2 children.


When I heard this story for the first time, the only thing I could think of was "No good deed goes unpunished"

Polish mom and dad should be ready and happy to do DNA test if she's their biological daughter.

If all of this is true, wonder if Poland mom and dad are going to be in some shit. Such as, if they have been harboring a child without having legal custody for all these years, you know? And lying about being her biological parents?

If it's true, its still better than the other possible outcome.

But its all guessing until that DNA test comes back. Not a bad guess in any case, the pic comparison is like. what??!?!?1/1/1

i must be a very lucky woman as i have encouraged my kids to find their bios and yea saved pics of all of them growing up to share with their bios .. one out of all of them finally searched and did find out his bios (both dead :( ) but found out that he has a brother :).... i met him :) and well he is also part of my family i can't called him a son but he asked me if he could call me his aunt... i told him it was an honor to have him as a nephew.... and as he lives far from i can't wait for our "family" reunion this summer as i will also meet his family in person finally not only on video chats :)

I'm getting tired of her.
This is literally 3rd missing child she claims to be.

A Polish organization which deals with people, made a statement that this girl came to them 1,5 months ago and said she's Acacia Bishop.

Her "mentor" is a clairvoyant and private detective lol.
Julia is an aspiring actor and singer.
She gained over a million followers on the since deleted social medias.


Official, unprofessional diagnosis - attention whore.
 
This part, I noticed and did not like either.

But if she is a stolen child I hope they get it figured out.
She is most likely not.

The police already said she is definitely not.
And if what she is saying was true, believe me, they would love to solve this case.

Her mother agreed for the DNA test two days ago.
The results, if the test has been made, will be available in few days.
That may explain why she deleted her socials, cause she knows that it can be proved she is a pathological liar, and since the drama got so much attention, no court will stop the family of showing the proof for it.

- I never open it before I watch the entire series, cause they list the number of episodes someone stars in, so it's pretty obvious that if someone who is a main character appears in less than the others, then it's most likely he died.

-I have noticed they started censoring some slightly "controversial " people z movies or shows. I used to have excellent memory, for example, I watched few episodes of Boston Public like 20 years ago, and when watching them all last year, I remembered so many irrelevant plot lines I was actually impressed (though I have to thank my mother's genes for that, I can barely remember few of my teachers from primary school, while my mother, her sister and brother could name almost all of them, and they are all around 60 and I'm 12).
Anyway, I when I see something and recognize some actors, they often are not listed in anything I have ever seen. So either IMDB doesn't list their more "artistic" or more weird stuff I definitely seen them in.
