A couple involved in a confrontation with a mother and daughter outside a Chipotle restaurant in Orion Township have been charged with felonious assault, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.

The charges against Jillian Wuestenberg, 32, and her husband, Eric Wuestenberg, 42, were announced by Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard on Thursday during a press conference, which followed video of the incident going viral.

The video shows a white woman pulling a gun on a black mother and her daughter outside of a Chipotle.

During Thursday's press conference, Bouchard played four 911 calls from the incident, with some calls coming from bystanders.
Eric Wuestenberg, who worked for Oakland University in Veterans Support Services, was fired following the confrontation.

Wife, husband charged with felonious assault after pulling gun on a woman with her children

Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter released a statement on the incident.

“I am deeply disturbed by an incident last night where a woman pointed a cocked gun at another woman during an argument," Coulter said. "This behavior is unacceptable. I wholly expect the prosecutor to bring charges that reflect the severity of the incident.”

State Sen. Rosemary Bayer, a Democrat from Beverly Hills, also released a statement:

“There is nothing acceptable about what happened in Orion Township last night at the Chipotle. It is abhorrent to think that some in this country have such a sense of self-righteousness and entitlement that the idea of pulling a gun out on an unarmed child and her mother is okay. It is not, and I condemn anyone who thinks otherwise. My heart goes out to Ms. Hill and her daughters, who may now forever be traumatized by this experience."

Did I say that,no I did not.Dont put words in people's mouths because you are self righteous.One of the the first rules in gun safety classes,which you are required by law to carry whether concealed or not,is to make sure the situation warrants pointing a weapon.like I said there is more to the story so get over yourself already.

If he kept driving he would have ran over the woman.. She was behind the car so he couldnt move. I have no idea why the wife got out through..

No for one thing, he says a couple pulled a gun on protesters walking by their house, I think if this wasn’t agenda driven and the reporter, would’ve said how the protesters busted down a wrought iron gate to get to The house to protest. As he tells it people will see the protesters and peaceful non violent, just walking down the street and the white couple as the aggressors, so why should his version of this event be believed?

It makes his reporting slanted, and also makes me feel there’s a lot more to the story, just like there lot more to the other story he left out. If he had said they busted down the iron gate and the “white” people came out with weapons it would give a different and more honest spin on what happened, so who’s to say he’s not doing the same on this occasion

Yeah, i get the slanted reporting.
But i dont think the DA pays much attention to what a reporter has to say or not say for that matter.

Gonna be honest, I can understand her getting upset, but her pulling a damned gun on the two was extremely stupid. Lost all empathy for her at that point. Her butt needs to be put in a cage. Both her and her husband do. However, people need to stop poking the bear, don't care what color ya are. Those two women, mother and daughter are lucky they were not killed. Some things are not worth it.

So the situation was over, the white couple were pulling out of the spot. The Grandmother/Mother walked behind the car and hit the car then the other black family members started hitting the car saying that the white couple were trying to run the mother/grandmother over. Then a gun was pulled?
Couple of things.
1. The polite thing to do when you bump into someone is say excuse me. The entire situation could have been avoided
2.) If the person does not say excuse me it is not a major freaking deal. Dont turn it into one
3.) Dont pull a gun unless you are planning on using it. ( I think for a second she really was planning on shooting them
4.) The Black Family did threaten them on video. Stating that they would kick their ass
5.) I have never eaten at Chipolte what is it lol
