A 2-month-old baby died over the weekend and now his father, 19-year-old Xavier Richardson, is charged with murder.

"I've never seen anything like this in my life," said City Prosecutor Jeff Limbian.

Xavier Richardson, Jr. died at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday night.

Police said when they found the infant, he was blue, not breathing and had signs of abuse.

"As a result of a horrific child abuse situation, this child has died," Limbian said.

The father is charged with murder, felonious assault and child endangerment.

Authorities said the baby's mother left the child in Richardson's care while she was at work.

Richardson told officials he was asleep, then he noticed the child gasping for air. The baby was taken to the hospital that night.

There were several injuries on the baby, including something Limbian said he's never seen before -- "absolutely horrifying bite marks."

"Injuries that no human being, particularly a baby, should have to suffer," he said.

An autopsy is being done on the infant. The charges could be increased in severity depending on what the coroner finds.

"Demon Boy" You sir are just the worst. I agree with Satanica, chimp exhibit and let them bois go without food for a couple days before he' put in there.

How can you bite a baby??!! What the hell actually makes anyone think 'Oh hey, I'll bite him to make him stop crying'?? Or hurt a baby in any way?! He's an animal. A vicious animal.

When my nephews and nieces are small, they love when I give them "sugar nummies" : using your lips to "gum" them, you make "nomnomnom" noises on their forearms, as they giggle.
I once made a mark on my oldest niece's arm that looked like a very light hickey - and while she suffered no pain, and wanted "more nummies", I was despondent and crying for days in knowing that I had marked her skin, even if it was in gentle playfulness.

I can't fathom what would make any adult bite a 2mo old, even 2-3 year old children of average intellect know better than to do this to another child.
The only thing that could cause me to bite any living creature was if I was fighting for my life and allow survival instincts to take over.

Either feed him to a tiger, lion, shark, crocodile/alligator etc or throw him in a garbage compactor.

I vote for gator bait.
Simply take him out deep into the salt flats, where there are often old deep set tide marking cedar posts, tie him to a post with barbwire on an incoming tide, and gut him with a rusty knife.
You then leave him there with the knife, giving him the option to finish himself off before the gators (and sharks) quickly get the scent of his bloody guts.

The only difference between this and other gator baiting techniques is that you're not intending to hunt/kill the gators.

OK so one, dad look fem as shit.
and 2 - have ya'll seen the mamas teeth? This bitch looks like she could make some gnarly bite marks.
ALSO she is currently exploiting her son by actively selling tee shirts with the dead baby's pics on them. Aside from ONE post calling daddy a 'bitch' she doesn't seem mad or irate at all.

The Mahoning County Coroner has ruled that a young baby died of homicide due to blunt force injuries.

The baby, Xavier Richardson, died in March at the hospital. Police said the boy was blue, not breathing and had signs of abuse, including what prosecutors said were “absolutely horrifying bite marks.”

The boy’s father, Xavier Richardson, was charged with murder and felonious assault, but those charges were dismissed in April while they waited to hear from the coroner on the cause of death.

Prosecutors will be speaking with detectives to determine what happens next in this case.

In April, Prosecutor Jeff Limbian said he didn’t want to risk leaving the murder charge in place without a report from the coroner. He questioned why the autopsy was taking so long.

Coroner Dr. David Kennedy said reviews and tests often take at least a month and a half, and in this particular case, bite marks on the victim were sent to a forensic dentist.

A North Side Youngstown man charged with the death of his infant son has been deemed competent to stand trial.

The evaluation was revealed in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court during an off-the-record status conference in the case of Xavier Richardson, 20.

Richardson is charged with murder for the March 15 death of his son, who was under two months old.

An assessment is still being done to determine if Richardson can be allowed to plead not guilty by reason of insanity. It is not yet clear when the assessment will be done.

In a police report, Richardson said he noticed the baby was sleeping but not breathing, so he took him to the hospital. The baby was cold to the touch and blue at the hospital, reports said.

Hospital personnel found bite marks on the baby and injuries to his brain, police said.

Police charged the father with murder after consulting with doctors at the hospital, who said the baby had severe injuries that could not have been caused naturally.

The scandinavian countries avoid so much trouble of this sort because like, those countries actually want the children to survive and do well.

In Finland, employers are required by law to give mothers with new babies up to 9 months of leave while ensuring that the exact job still remains reserved for the mother during that time, without demotion or such. Employers hire temp workers to cover the mother's job during that time. The mother gets paid benefits of like 70% of their former salary during this time. Fathers can also take a period of paid leave like this.

Unemployed new mothers get a minimum level of this 9-month support as well.

After 9 months, there is the option of high quality daycare that does not destroy the mother financially.

In Finland there are no mothers who feel driven by circumstances to leave their 2 month old babies with any kind of shit-man who is sitting at home like a worthless disgusting pig and not working. -None-. Same goes for 9 month old babies - if the mother is working after that 9 months, she can and WILL put her kid into the high quality daycare and she WILL be able to afford it.

Even unemployed mothers have a degree of access to this high quality day care, in fact. Kids are not just left out of the mainstream culture and society because of income. The school situation is similar.

USA on the whole does not value its children, especially ones that look "black". I know a few white men I work with in USA would spew words like "Communism!" and "Hell no, not with my tax money!" about Finland's baby leave rules and benefits. They would say, "Pay people to have babies? What????". In my perception from various conversations with them, the reality is that they don't want comprehensive support to be offered for "black" babies of any income level, or to an extent, babies who come from people who might be referenced as white trash. This mentality creates the lack of support that babies in USA must survive through. If the whole country were more or less middle class and almost all "white", I think this mentality and lack of support for new mothers would not be so strong.

All he really had was a case of the sads for being held accountable for killing his baby.

If you or your booty hole is not built for prison than keep your hands to yourself.

Just because he is afraid of anyone that is not a baby to fight does not make him incompetent.

Only 4 years for the death of a baby. Wow. There are people serving WAY more time for dealing drugs and tax fraud than this guy. His son wouldn't have even been in kindergarten and this loser is going to be out and free to make more victims.

Sorry, I missed that other 11 years part. So 15 years (possibly) total. That takes us to this child's sophomore year of high school. Getting a driver's license, participating in homecoming activities, maybe a first serious girlfriend/boyfriend, thinking about the future... College, tech school, a job.... Not for this kiddo.

Wow, nice to see you, @FangDelGato !
Thank you, Satanica! Things have been rough here for a while. I got really sick and the animal hospital where I was working didn't believe me. I've been working since I was 14 and have never been in trouble before. They put me on a "behavior contract." If I missed any time, left early, came in late in the 60 day period they could fire me. Again, had NEVER been disciplined at work before. Me, being stubborn as fuck, showed up every day and threw up in trash cans and was doubled over in pain at times, but I showed up. On day 61 I was finally so sick I called my best friend to take me to the ER. I had gallstones, pancreatitis and really elevated liver enzymes for being untreated for so long. They had to treat me for 5 days before surgery because I was so sick. My doctor encouraged me to file an EEOC complaint. I got fired right after that. I've just been trying to get caught up on everything since that disaster. It's good to be back amongst friends.

Damn, you've been through the wringer! An employer did me that way, too, but then he got arrested for trafficking in stolen IBM equipment, sued by Blue Cross for backing out of a sale, and got his just rewards when he went on a cruise with his wife and secretary (;)) and had a massive fatal heart attack. His wife then had the nerve to want me to testify on his behalf in that Blue Cross lawsuit. Their defense was that the salesman did this, but I told them there was not a damned thing that happened that Don didn't pass grace over. Needless to say, I never heard from them again.

I am so sorry you suffered so much and were treated so badly for it. Hopefully, you will become a regular feature around here again. I never even got to know you, so I'm thrilled to now get the chance. We wish you all the best from here on out!
