A South Carolina woman is accused of pulling a gun on a Burger King customer who mixed up her drink order this week, telling the victim she was “going to blow her head off,” authorities said.

Sonya Stinson, 46, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with first-degree assault and battery as well as pointing and presenting a firearm at a person, jail records show. The arrest came two days after the disturbing encounter at a Burger King drive-through in Fort Mill, a suburb of Charlotte, N.C.

The employee told 911 dispatchers that Stinson pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her over a wrong drink order, according to an incident report obtained by The Charlotte Observer.

“Burger King employee stated the customer got upset about a mix up between coffee and orange juice and made the threat several times and then exited the vehicle in attempt to come after the employee,” deputies with the York County Sheriff’s Department wrote in the report.

Fast food and retail employees have been treated like shit for a long time but now it's rising to the level of death threats. They are not seen as actual people but as stupid lazy employees who are not even human. What they think is : Who is going to care if you hurt/kill the dumb drone behind the counter?

All working people should be in solidarity with each other. It doesn't matter where you work or what sort of work you do, you're on the clock for some corporate overlord. One's sense of self esteem shouldn't come from lording it over someone considered a lesser worker or person.

I was once seriously hungover and near death and the McDonalds drive thru employee gave me disgusting Diet Coke instead of regular McDonald’s Coke which is actually the elixir of life. I came into the restaurant to ask for a new soda in a calm and normal manner but instead I started crying and saying “I just need a regular” until someone took pity on me and gave me a Coke and a free McMuffin. Anyway it worked better than pulling a gun and I didn’t have to spend my day in jail, I spent it in my bed nursing my Coke and watching worlds wildest police videos on my phone.
