Woman Charged With Running Man Over With Vehicle Multiple Times

"Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said Sasha A. Waloke faces second-degree murder charges, first-degree assault charges and two counts of armed criminal action.

According to court records filed Monday, Kansas City police responded to the area of 30th and York in Kansas City on a disturbance call on April 25.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man, identified by police as Larry A. Green, in the road dead and another woman said she had been struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses told police that Waloke had been in a disturbance. Police said Waloke and others were observed beating Green with a shovel. Police said Waloke then got into a Cadillac and ran into and over Green. One witness told police Waloke hit Green 21 times."
