The investigation began on March 15 after the six-week-old infants were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries consistent with child abuse.
Medical reports later confirmed the infants suffered severe non-accidental trauma, including brain bleeds, broken bones, and burns, according to deputies.
Camron Douglas, a parolee, faces two counts of first-degree assault, while Brittany Spicer was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Both were processed and are being held at the Wayne County Jail pending CAPS arraignment.
