Tiffani Holmes Turns Herself In Months After Her 3YO Dies In Hot Garage

Months after the death of a 3-year-old boy, authorities say Tiffani Huff Holmes, 41, of Bondurant, turned herself in Sunday at the Polk County Jail.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office opened an investigation in June after a 3-year-old boy in Bondurant was found unresponsive and later died.

On June 28, 2025, authorities responded to a home in Bondurant after a report of an unresponsive three-year-old child.

According to court documents, the boy was found in a closed garage where he had likely overheated. Holmes told investigators she had taken a nap and discovered the child unresponsive in a lawn chair in the garage after she woke up.

First responders were unable to revive the child, and he was pronounced dead at the scene
