Alexis Harris was arraigned earlier this month on six child abuse charges related to her alleged conduct with a 10-month-old girl over August, September and October this fall.

Harris had been babysitting the child at a residence in Flint when the incidents depicted in the videos took place.

The child's uncle discovered the alleged abuse while reviewing in-house camera footage, which showed incidents of physical assault on his niece. He posted some of the videos on social media and they were shared around the world.

The Flint Police Department received numerous calls from people who saw the videos, including residents in Switzerland and Australia.
