2011

When I tell you that this is probably the most disturbing film you will ever see, I'm not overselling.

Its not about anything gory, no jump scares, no "Oh, the inhumanity of mankind" lesson, it doesn't have the infamous Skullfucker in it.
No children or animals are hurt. It is not a "True Story" film. Not supernatural or unbelievable. No special effects. It won't make you afraid to go out your front door, take a vacation, or go to sleep.

It was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and it's professionally made, regular Hollywood quality.

There's so many things that it's not, and only one thing that it is.
Unsettling.

It will rearrange your mind.

But I really, REALLY cannot emphasize enough that if you are the least bit sensitive, if you dwell on things and can't get them out of your mind, if you're in any kind of challenging situation, then please don't watch this.

I happened upon it 5 years ago, and I've never forgotten it.

It's 29 minutes long

I do actually hope someone braves a peek. Maybe my warnings were TOO ominous?

Or is it too late and it's happened. The DD audience has morphed into something... pallid, bloodless that not even a 10 foot pole of terror can rouse?

It won't pull you into the screen and nothing will crawl out, so, there's that.

Alright, well If you do watch, let me know what you thought of it, or I WILL post something that will slither out of the screen and hide under your bed.

I'll watch it when I get home from work. My ancient old school data plan doesn't exclude streaming videos for the limits. Being stuck at 2G data speeds makes ISDN internet service seem fast. But 2 lines for $68 a month with AT&T, can't beat it

Idk what the coverage map looks like in your neck of the woods, but I switched to Boost Infinite several months ago when my other provider (a major carrier) just could not seem to pick up a signal when I was at my new house.

It's superfast 5G, unlimited talk/text/and data, (with 30GB of premium data), for a grand total of $26.19 per line (which includes taxes).

We live in a fairly rural-adjacent area and we've driven through a couple of brief dead zones while out exploring the country, but certainly not any worse than what we experienced before when we were paying a lot more.

Might be worth looking into?

My roommate has T mobile, or the cheap generic version. It works OK for him. I was thinking about getting a wifi data box they offer. Phone could connect with the wifi if I needed more data.

Oh Sweet Jesus! What did you talk me into?

OH HELL, NO!

I just saw this post tonight. Indeed, unsettling.

I think the saddest part is that the wife didn’t even bring this up with her husband after she found out what was going on. I can understand why the husband felt shame and couldn’t speak on it, but her silence left him to suffer alone.

The actions of the characters are really hard to relate to, and we're unprepared for that.

Well, that was.........something.....ummmm....thanks for that 29mins that is now forever in my head.
You're welcome! Lol.
If you treat it like a chain letter and pass it on to others, you can avoid the curse of it taking up too much space in your head.
I'd almost forgotten about it.

O.M.G. This is almost biblical.
