Aaron Armantrout, 36, and his wife Susan, 41, were both reported missing over the weekend by the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department.

Susan Armantrout and the couple’s 2013 Chevrolet Silverado were located late Sunday night.

The body of Aaron Armantrout and his 2000 Blue BMW 540i were found in Potosi, MO, on Monday.

St. Genevieve County has charged Susan Armantrout with 1st-degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action, and Abandonment of a Corpse. She is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond.

Here is some more info!

Around 10:15 a.m., deputies said Susan Armantrout asked to speak with them and she confessed to Aaron’s murder by shooting him in the head. She said she attempted to clean up the scene of the crime, then dragged Aaron’s body to the garage and hid him in the trunk of his BMW, then drove the vehicle to a storage unit in Potosi. She parked the vehicle inside the storage unit and jammed the lock to the trunk.

Police recovered Aaron Armantrout’s body on Monday afternoon and charged Susan.

During their investigation, deputies interviewed Susan’s mother, who described Susan’s attempt to shoot Aaron in fall 2017 at Lake Hanna in St. Francois County. Susan’s niece told deputies that Susan previously remarked she kept one bullet in her gun and that was for killing her husband.

Stepson charged with hiding body of Ste. Genevieve County murder victim

According to a spokesperson for the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office, the body of Aaron Armantrout was located on Monday, December 17. His body had been placed in the trunk of his BMW and the vehicle left inside a storage shed in Potosi.

On December 20, authorities determined Susan Armantrout’s friend, Angel Senter, helped her transport and abandon Aaron’s body. Senter was charged at the time with the abandonment of a corpse. On December 26, prosecutors filed an additional charge against Senter for tampering with evidence.

In addition, investigators believe Anthony Skaggs helped move Aaron’s body and hide him in the storage locker.

I knew there was a man somewhere involved in this, she could not have dragged him to the garage and put him in the trunk of his car by herself. Stupid woman, did exactly what she said she was going to do, she probably can't figure out how the cops knew it was her.
