A group of foster dogs in Minnesota recently had a spa day thanks to a dog salon that wanted to spruce them up for the holidays.
Adore Dog Salon gave holiday makeovers to a group of foster dogs from Underdog Rescue, a nonprofit foster-based rescue organization in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

"This is our second time this year doing the donation grooming," Isadora Foley, owner of the dog salon in the Minneapolis area, told KARE.

"We thought now would be a perfect time, pre-holiday, to see if any of these pups could find their forever homes," Foley said.
Among the dogs getting pampered was a pooch known as Princess Peach, who had been at a puppy mill before Underdog Rescue connected her with Anne Hendrickson, who is fostering Princess Peach.

"She was matted to the skin and like biting at it because it hurt her so bad," Hendrickson said.

The foster dog mom is also looking after Princess Peach's two puppies, but Peach was the one getting the free makeover at the dog salon in the Minneapolis area.
All of the dogs who got groomed were living with foster families thanks to Underdog Rescue. They each got a bath and a haircut.
Kirsten Eitreim, a photographer and volunteer who has adopted two "Underdogs," was there to take before and after photos of the dogs.
