Sh’nyia A’Zebria Glaze, 24, is facing charges after being arrested on Wednesday for allegedly leaving two infants were left in a unlocked, running vehicle unattended.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the Lee County Justice Center on Gateway Drive Wednesday morning after receiving a report of two infants being left alone in car seats in the parking lot. According to them, the mother, who was inside the Justice Center, became agitated and started arguing with deputies claiming that it wasn’t a big deal after being confronted about the situation.
Deputies say they determined the children had been left in the vehicle around 10 minutes, and a family member was contacted to pick up the children. They also state that the Alabama Department of Human Resources was also contacted in regards to the welfare of the children.
