Sh’nyia A’Zebria Glaze, 24, is facing charges after being arrested on Wednesday for allegedly leaving two infants were left in a unlocked, running vehicle unattended.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the Lee County Justice Center on Gateway Drive Wednesday morning after receiving a report of two infants being left alone in car seats in the parking lot. According to them, the mother, who was inside the Justice Center, became agitated and started arguing with deputies claiming that it wasn’t a big deal after being confronted about the situation.

Deputies say they determined the children had been left in the vehicle around 10 minutes, and a family member was contacted to pick up the children. They also state that the Alabama Department of Human Resources was also contacted in regards to the welfare of the children.

"OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - An Opelika mother is facing charges after being arrested on Wednesday for allegedly leaving two infants were left in a unlocked, running vehicle unattended." that sentence, quoted directly from the article, doesn't make much sense the way it is written doesn't anyone proveread anything anymore? it really gets my goat when i read news articles that has misspelled words or bad grammar, poor workmanship and all they need is push a buttom to correct spelling, typos or poor grammar

The fact that she would try to convince police that her breaking a law that involves her children's safety isn't a big deal says it all. Some people, as negligent and stupid as it is, feel like, "Okay, it's wrong, but I just got them to sleep and I'll be right back..." or something, and while they absolutely should face charges, they may learn. But this shows an inability to even pretend to take accountability, she truly sees nothing wrong with it and will likely do it, and possibly worse, again.

Reminds me of a site my mom used to freelance write for. You'd be amazed the writing jobs people put out - actual journalists who want more content pumped out all the way to doctorate students who want all their homework or a thesis done for them. If they get one or two good products from a person, or if they're in a rush, they sometimes don't even check what they pay for before using it. I've seen the complaints.
Now, I frequently side eye when I see things like that and wonder if they're outsourcing their stories.

Yeah sometimes I have to read thru multiple times before I can figure out what the authors are trying to say.

The person in this was definitely neglectful, thinking it no big deal to leave two defenseless babies in an unlocked car. Even if it were no big deal, but it's not, leaving the doors unlocked just invited a kidnapper to take the take the babies.

I am in no way defending this woman but she probably thought the car being on was enough.

While 24 is not young she may be very immature and was making excuses for her behavior.

She will get parenting classes and a warning hopefully that will be enough to make her never leave the children alone again.
