A 34-year-old Serbian woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering and dismembering her 67-year-old 'sex slave'.

Marina Becanovic allegedly beat Petar Petrovic to death in Guncati, in the suburbs of Belgrade on January 10, after abusing him for the last three years.

After killing the 67-year-old, she cut off his genitals and threw them on a stove, then wrote a message to his family saying she was 'finished with him.'

The authorities say Petrovic was tied up and tortured - burned with cigarettes and slashed with a blade - before he was beaten to death.

Becanovic is then said to have hacked his body with an axe before slicing off his genitals and throwing them into the burning stove.

Neighbours say Becanovic had kept the besotted man - 33 years her senior - as her slave, saying the large woman threw him around.

A neighbour said: 'That woman was constantly abusing and torturing him. She beat him, kicked him, stabbed him with a knife. She treated him as her slave.'

She said the dead man had been obsessed by her, adding: 'He went to the police a few times to report her, but he always went back to her.

'Marina was so brutal that once she lifted Petar in her arms, because she is bigger than him, and threw him onto the ground.'
