A bitch and her dick have been charged with child abuse and neglect in connection with a June incident in which an 8-year-old boy with a lifelong cardiac condition was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.

Charges also were filed against the pair in connection with a 7-year-old girl, according to a news release from the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

Charged in the incident are the mother of the two children, 27-year-old Sierra Cawthon, and her live-in dick, Robert Kennedy Williams, Jr., 33. Williams is not the father of the children.

Cawthon has been charged with neglect of her daughter and two counts of neglect on her deceased son. She was given a $50,000 bond.

Williams is charged with child abuse of the girl and for aggravated child abuse of the young boy. He also was given a $50,000 bond.

According to the Sheriff's Office news release, the incident that led to the arrests occurred on the evening of June 6 at Cawthon's home. Emergency personnel responding to a 911 call found the boy unresponsive. He was taken to a local hospital but later pronounced dead, according to the news release.

Following the boy's death, an investigation was launched into the well-being of the girl, who also lived in the home.

On the evening of the boy's death, according to the Sheriff's Office news release, Williams left before deputies arrived at the residence, apparently in an attempt to avoid arrest on parole violation charges. He was located the next day and arrested on the outstanding warrant.

The subsequent investigation into the boy's death revealed that "both children sustained injuries consistent with physical abuse and torture at the hand of Williams," according to the news release.

It was also discovered that Cawthon, despite seeing her son in discomfort and experiencing symptoms on multiple occasions, did not seek medical attention for a cardiac condition that he had been diagnosed at birth.

"In the last five years, neither child had been to a doctor, received immunizations or seen a dentist despite having access to free medical care," the Sheriff's Office noted in the news release.

The release also quotes from the autopsy on the boy, which reads in part, "Based on cardiac history, no recent medical care, and a systemic bacterial infection related to his cardiac condition, the child protection team findings for medical neglect are positive. It is clear had he received the necessary and timely medical intervention, he would most likely be alive today.”

Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson said in the news release. “No child should suffer the way these two kids have suffered.”
