A 28-year-old Virginia woman will spend nine decades in prison after pleading guilty to making child sex abuse materials and sending them to her then-boyfriend in 2023 and 2024, the county sheriff's office said.
A judge sentenced Anna Grace Layher, 28, to life in prison, all but 30 years suspended, for rape-related charges of a child under 13 years of age, according to county officials. She also received another life sentence with all but 20 years suspended for an object-related charge, officials said.
Prosecutors argued that Layher, in 2023 and 2024, created "sexually explicit videos and images" of two children she knew and sent them to her then boyfriend, Davey Sisk. Sisk was later sentenced to 40 years in prison for sexually exploiting and attempting to sexually exploit a child, and receiving child sex abuse materials.
In addition to the combined 50-year sentence, Layher was given another 40-year sentence related to a sexual exploitation of children charge, officials said.

A former prison officer at Coffeewood Correctional Center in Mitchells, Virginia, was sentenced this week to 40 years in federal prison on a series of federal charges related to child sexual exploitation and child pornography.
Davey Jonathan Sisk, 30, of Culpeper, Virginia, pled guilty in June to two counts of sexually exploiting and attempting to sexually exploit a child as well as one count of receiving child pornography.
According to court documents, Sisk used the social media application “Telegram” to engage another individual, Anna Layher, to create videos and photos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and then send to him. These videos and photos involved victims as young as three years old. Anna Layher, who was prosecuted in the Eastern District of Virginia for her role in sexually exploiting these victims, also received a 40-year sentence in September 2024.
In addition, from 2021 through 2022, a 12-year-old minor living in Texas engaged in sexual intercourse with another minor child and then sold videos and images of these sexual encounters on the internet through various social media applications, including Snapchat. Sisk admitted to using the Snapchat username “JAKESMOOT2021” and to paying over $450 through Cash App to the 12-year-old minor in exchange for multiple sexually explicit images and videos.
