Sentenced: Utah Man Charged With Repeatedly Raping 9YO Girl, Including With Vacuum At Car Wash

Tyler James Webb, 23, is charged in 3rd District Court with child kidnapping, rape of a child, sodomy upon a child, three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, all first-degree felonies; and aggravated child abuse, a second-degree felony.

The disturbing case involves a 9-year-old girl. She was doing her chores in her home on April 13, 2022, when her sister contacted Webb and told him to pick the 9-year-old up, according to charging documents. Court documents do not say how the sister knew Webb or if she had any knowledge of what he was allegedly planning to do to the girl.

When Webb arrived at the residence, police say he put the girl in the trunk of his car. He then took the girl to a car wash and used one of the vacuums to sexually assault her, according to charging documents.

The girl "tried to run away, but Webb slapped and choked her" and threw the girl back into the car's trunk. She was then "driven to the mountains and placed on the edge of a cliff" where she was sexually assaulted again, the charges allege.

Webb next drove the girl to his father's residence where the girl "tried to run from Webb, but he caught her and tied her up again," according to the charges. Police say the girl was sexually assaulted two more times before Webb took her to the state Capitol and took inappropriate photos of her.

Prosecutors have requested that Webb be held in the Salt Lake County Jail without the possibility of posting bail pending trial, "due to the serious nature of the allegations and to keep the victim safe."

the article doesn't say when and where and how she finally got away from that sick f*&k.... if she was brought back home to her sister then it makes me think that her sister was dif. in on it... just her calling him to pick the child up should be enough to charge her also....and he put the little girl in the trunk of the car?? wouldn't she be fighting ( i don't know of a 9 years old especially a girl wanting to be put in the trunk of a car for any reasons ) and her sister never heard or even looked to make sure her little sister was ok ?? something sounds very fishy to me ...

A 30-year-old Fairbury man could spend the rest of his life in prison for sexually assaulting a child. Tyler Webb was convicted on three counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault during a trial in July. A jury convicted Webb on all three counts after 40 minutes of deliberation.

The Fairbury Police Department said Webb sexually assaulted a 10-year-old female three separate times between October of 2023 and January of 2024 at an apartment complex on 8th street in Fairbury. The Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office said the victim was Webbs biological daughter, who shared her ordeal in front of the jury. After an investigation, Webb was arrested by the Fairbury Police Department on Tuesday, January 30th of 2024.

Webb was sentenced to 60 years in prison by Livingston County Judge Jennifer Bauknecht during a hearing this afternoon. He will have to serve 85 percent of the sentence and register as a sex offender for life.

In a separate case, Webb was arrested by authorities for beating a child under the age of seven somewhere in the Livingston County area in late 2018.

Webb was placed on 30 months of probation and 120 days in the Livingston County Jail after pleading guilty to Aggravated Battery To a Child, a class three felony in October of 2020. According to the murderer and violent offender against youth registry, Webb was 23 at the time of the crime and the victim was five.

now I understand why the sibling called this POS to pick up the little girl-he was her father which just makes him even more disgusting-should of been charged w/ incest too. VILE VILE POS. My only questions now are - did the sibling know what he was doing to his own daughter? Did he also SA the other sibling? Why was he called in the first place to come get this poor child? Whatever time he does will never ever be enough-no misery he "suffers" will ever be enough. I hope this brave little girl gets all the help, support, love and care she needs and DESERVES

That caught my attention too. I was seeing 9 and 23 and coming up with a difference of 14, and wondering WTF.The article announcing his sentencing says he is 30 now, which mollifies me a bit.
