A Tucson man will spend 15 years in prison after being convicted of kidnapping a teen boy he met online.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Tadashi Kura Kojima, 29, was sentenced after he admitted to kidnapping a 13-year-old Utah boy so the two could have sex.
Kojima, who is also known as Aaron Michael Zeman and Hunter Fox, pleaded guilty to transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity in November 2024.
According to court records, Kojima said he drove to Utah from Tucson in December 2022. Kojima and the boy were eventually found at a gas station in Nebraska.
The victim told authorities he left his Utah home to meet Kojima after communicating with him over the internet.

Before the two met, Kojima allegedly asked the boy to bring his passport.
