A pregnant woman, working alone at a loan company, went into contractions after being robbed at gunpoint by the father of her sister’s baby, said police.

The suspect, Michael Nelson, is now facing the felony charge of aggravated robbery.

Police say that on June 30, Nelson walked into the Credit Central Loan and Taxes store wearing a black hoodie over his head and blue bandana covering his face below his nose.

According to police, the woman was on the phone with her mother when Nelson, holding a handgun, told her, “give me all the money.” The woman replied there was no money to give, but Nelson raised his voice repeating his demand. The woman’s mother overheard what was happening and told the woman to hand over any money.

The woman opened her desk drawer and gave Nelson all the money in the till, said police. Then, they say, Nelson wanted more, pleading, “Come on Panda give me the money, I need to see my baby.” The woman said only her family calls her by the nickname Panda.

According to the affidavit, the woman then recognized Nelson, her sister’s baby’s father. She told Nelson to leave, but before he did Nelson asked her not to call police.

Police say the woman later identified Nelson in a photo lineup.

Come on Panda give me the money, I need to see my baby

What's that supposed to mean? Let me guess: he was behind on child support? And he was hoping to get back in his ex's good graces using the proceeds from robbing her sister at gunpoint?

Good luck with that one, lady, I hope the kid takes after you instead.

But day after day we see people get less time for torturing and killing kids.
It's sick how devalued children are by our so-called justice system.
