Sentenced: OH Mom Charged After 2YO Son Falls Out Of Window, Breaking Leg & Pelvis

A woman has been charged with felony child endangering after police said her two-year-old child fell out of a window.

According to a release from Akron police, officers responded to a home on Wednesday at around 6:20 p.m. after receiving a call about a toddler who had fallen out of a window.

Police learned the child fell from a second-story landing window that was left open, the release said.

The two-year-old boy’s leg and pelvis were broken. He was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital.

According to Akron police, the child’s mother, Ashleigh Bates, 26, was arrested and charged. She was taken to the Summit County Jail.

I think the news story left out some details. I think she's being charged because she showed the 2 year old her face while the window was open, and the 2 year old ran and tried to jump outside to get to safety.

Those could be dimple piercings gone wrong (e.g. the holes weren't kept clean) but what's up with the rest of her face? Can't tell if it's an unfortunate birthmark, rash, dirt/mud, scabs or combinations of all.

I thought to start with she was just dirty, extremely nasty. Looking more at it a bit more closely I can see - A bridge, a medusa, a labret, Monroe's on both sides, maybe two snake bites, definitely heavy gauges in her lobes and finally an industrial. I'm also thinking that those dimple piercings are actually stretched (0G or 00G) and just slightly infected/scabbed over.

Also I wouldn't surprised if that excessive redness on the side of her nose is an infected nostril piercing.

I looked at the comments in a news sight the story was featured on. APPARENTLY it’s not meth just an unsightly skin condition (I’m a nurse esthetician and I’ve never seen anything like this before) and she’s an angel amazing mom of the year.
