A registered sex offender was arrested after he allegedly tried to get a young girl from Oklahoma to send him explicit pictures.

Samuel Schwinger, of NJ, was arrested after he allegedly tried to get explicit videos from a young girl living in Oklahoma. (Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office)

New Jersey authorities were contacted Friday regarding an investigation conducted by an Oklahoma county sheriff’s department.

A young girl’s parents reported to authorities that their child was contacted by someone in New Jersey posing as a young girl, asking to send explicit videos of herself, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office.

Investigation located the number and account for the person who contacted the young girl, connecting it to 34-year-old Samuel Schwinger of Lakewood, New Jersey, authorities said.

He was taken into custody and faces charges, including producing, distributing and possessing images/videos of children under the age of 16. Schwinger also faces charges of possession of marijuana.

Based on all the stuff I have read about it, the Schwinger lifestyle just isn't for me.

Dude was given a 2nd chance with probation and blew it. I bet in 20 years he ends up blowing it again and ends up back in jail.

Lakewood man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on Tuesday for coercing a minor under the age of 12 to produce videos of child sexual abuse and send them to him, said U.S Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.

Samuel Schwinger, 38, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Georgette Castner to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.

In March 2019, Schwinger used an app to communicate with the victim and convince the child to make sexually explicit videos, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Schwinger also admitted that from October 2018 to April 2019, he communicated with more than 25 children for the purpose of producing and distributing sexually explicit material of them, the statement said.

In addition to the prison term, Castner sentenced Schwinger to 10 years of supervised release and ordered to register as a sex offender upon his release. Schwinger was already a registered sex offender who has been serving 10 years of probation for a sexual assault in New York.
