76-year-old Dennis Wayne McCabe called 911 for his significant other who was assaulted during a domestic dispute between the two.
A deputy was greeted in the front yard by Dennis Wayne McCabe yelling to “‘hurry up and get in this house, I'm fixing to finish this son of a b***h,’ referring to the victim.”
The deputy discovered the woman “laying in a puddle of blood on the kitchen floor, in and out of consciousness.” She had injuries to her head and torso.
According to the arrest report, McCabe said he and the victim had been in a relationship and living together for 15 years, and “The reason the argument took place was over the AmeriGas company bill discrepancy, as well as built-up stress in the residence overall.
Macabe reported the victim had been having recent suicidal ideations and began to say she didn't want to live anymore.
Macabe stated he punched the victim in the face multiple times, kicked her ribs, and kicked her in the head while she was on the floor.
