Sentenced: Jo Garrison Bought 12YO Lingerie, Condoms & Told Her Not To Get Pregnant

A Missouri woman who is accused of buying lingerie and condoms for a 12-year-old girl and encouraging her to have a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old man has been charged with child endangerment.

Jo Garrison, 66, of Springfield, was arrested last week and freed after posting bond.

Charging documents say Jo Garrison, 66, bought condoms for the girl and told her not to get pregnant when she was diagnosed last year with chlamydia.

The 18-year-old, who is charged with statutory rape, allegedly told police he tried to end the relationship, but Garrison manipulated him into continuing and bought lingerie for the girl.

Documents say Garrison told officers she was fine with the relationship.

The 18-year-old (who is 20 now), Jonathan Little (gave girl chlamydia), is facing charges of first-degree statutory rape for his actions.

Garrison's endangering the welfare of a child charge is a Class D felony that carries a possible 7-year prison sentence.

Jonathan Little, 19, was charged Monday with three counts of first-degree statutory rape.

According to a probable cause statement, a girl disclosed that she met Little in February when she was 12 and he was 18 and they began a sexual relationship.

The statement says the girl then became sick and learned that she had contracted chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Little was interviewed by police and admitted to the relationship and to testing positive for chlamydia, according to the statement.

Little faces a possible life sentence if convicted.
