Sentenced: Florida Man Kicked 9YO In The Stomach, Knocked Boy's Tooth Out

Michael William Pelton, 37, according to his arrest affidavit, yelled at a child, 9, before the boy ran, saying he was trying to kill him on March 13, 2024.

Collier County deputies responded and witnessed Pelton screaming at a woman with two children in a car, according to Pelton's arrest affidavit.

Deputies said the child had attempted to contact his mother earlier when Pelton slapped the child multiple times, knocking out the tooth. He also kicked the child in the stomach.

The child left and went to the gate guard house of a neighboring community for safety, the state attorney's office said.

i sure hope that the child will never have to see that beast again..... oh a 9yo can be very aggravating but who would hit a child at all or in the face and with enough force to knock out a tooth or kick a child in the stomack or anywhere for that matter?? violence never teaches a child anything except that violence if the only way to get the results you want ...... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
