The case of a Brisbane tradesman who allegedly surgically removed another man's testicle will be transferred to a higher court.

Former private schoolboy Ryan Andrew King, 27, is accused cutting off another man's testicle after they met online and arranged to meet up in person at a backpacker's hostel to perform a bizarre castration fetish fantasy.

Police will allege King met up with another man, 26, who travelled from Sydney at an inner-city Brisbane backpackers' hostel on July 25.

King allegedly researched the surgery online and brought medical equipment and anaesthetic with him before removing one of the man's testicles at his request.

It's alleged the wound could not be stitched up enough to stop the bleeding and an ambulance was called.

The other man was rushed to hospital and required surgery.

King has been behind bars since his arrest in July, where he was charged with two counts of acts intending to maim, disfigure or disable.

It's understood the charges relates to 'castration fetish', where men become aroused at the idea of having their penis or testicles cut off.

The court previously heard in July that King was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome as a child and receives medication for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

He was born with Klinefelter syndrome, which results in men carrying an extra female chromosome, his lawyer told the court.

His lawyer also previously told the court his client had been bullied while attending private school Anglican Church Grammar.

Ok, this might make some very minute sense if the one wanting his testicle removed had Klinefelter syndrome, but WTF has it got to do towards aiding the electrician who did the cutting for his defense? He didn't cut his own ball off, FFS.

We had an ambulance call one night, about 25 years ago: a local pedo dude we all knew who'd been recently arrested for taking several boys, without their parents knowledge, across 3 counties for a weekend, showing porn videos, giving them booze and blow jobs. Stupidly for him, one of the boys was a county sheriff's deputy's son.

Dude was staying at a rathole efficiency apartment by the river, and we found him in the bathtub, severely bleeding from the crotch. He'd used an old rusty steak knife and managed to hack off one of his nads.
His next door neighbor called when he heard the screaming.
When we arrived, the amputated testicle was laying on his coffee table, along with the bent and rusty knife.
Our chief of police grabbed the 'nad with a tissue and tossed it as far as he could into the river, next to the apartments.

The ER Dr. said it was the worst "hack job" he'd ever seen, and even if we'd brought the ball that was now fish food, it couldn't have been reattached.
Dude swore he did it to himself, but there was no blood trail from the bathroom to the coffee table, so we all wondered (and still do to this day) if someone's dad did the world a huge favor.

omg wtf did I just read? :hungover:

Interesting a man with a genetic mutation that can cause underdeveloped testes and likely impotence would be into something like this. Curious if this dude had such effects of this syndrome, itd explain his interest in going after the balls of others.

Victimless crime here. I don't like the charge. Surely that charge is intended for folks who harm others intentionally, commit violence or some other wrongful act, not two blokes engaging in mutual body modification activities. I assume Australia has some law on the books against practicing medicine without a license or performing medical procedures without proper authority to do so. That would make a VASTLY more rational charge.

He has some perky titties.

Yes, it's revealed in the article he was born with Klinefelter syndrome. Very likely a result of that.

Classy. Not surprising the number of "likes" and "laughs" other members gave this.

A Brisbane man with no formal medical qualifications who filmed himself performing "backyard" consensual castration surgeries on two men has been handed a suspended sentence and will be released from jail on probation.
Ryan Andrew King, 28, pleaded guilty to two counts of malicious act with intent in the District Court in Brisbane this morning, after admitting to carrying out genital-removal procedures on the men at different times in 2019 and 2020.
The court was told King met the men, a 26-year-old from New South Wales and a 66-year-old from Victoria, on a eunuch-interest website, and the two surgeries occurred at a motel in Logan and a hostel in Brisbane.
When sentencing him, Judge Richard Jones said he accepted King had "expressed regret" for his offending.

"You were clearly not authorised or qualified to do what you did," he said.

"Your plea shows your level of remorse, and no doubt [the] level of shame you feel in respect of what you have done."
Judge Jones told the court the two men involved had provided "positive" victim impact statements, with one saying the procedure had been a "great benefit to his health and wellbeing".

Judge Jones read victim impact statements to the court.

"I am eternally grateful to Ryan for enabling me to enjoy life," he read.
Judge Jones said the younger man had wanted all of his sexual organs removed ever since he was a child because he "wanted to be a eunuch".

King was given a three-and-a-half-year jail sentence, but was released immediately after serving 355 days in pre-sentence custody.

He will be subject to reporting conditions under a probation order for three years.
